Daniel Ballin, P.T., MBA

Daniel Ballin is the market chief executive officer for Select Specialty Hospital - Hampton Roads and Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital. In this role since 2025, he oversees daily hospital operations and patient experience. With over 25 years of progressive growth in leadership roles and responsibility in healthcare organizations, Daniel is a servant leader who believes that his staff are his greatest asset.

Before accepting this role, Daniel served as CEO of Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital since 2016. Prior to joining Select Medical, he was the system director for Rehabilitation Services and Wellness for Riverside.

Daniel holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
